In "The awakening of the city" Riccio continues his profound and sensitive investigation of the conflicting and fascinating nature of his hometown. The artist opens his solo show with large-sized works with a strong visual impact, involving the viewer from the beginning in the journey of emotional awakening of which Naples is the creator and protagonist. His Awakening is represented by the pulsating encounter between the elements of nature: "earth and water" "Vesuvius and the Gulf", from which the "Oceanica" concept takes shape.
